Sara Lazenby

Deputy Nursery Manager ( job share) / Qualified Senior Early Years Practitioner

Works with The Caterpillars aged 3 months to 1 year.

I have worked at the nursery for 9 years and I really love my job and have learnt so much about children and their development over the years. I am in my first year of a foundation degree at Hull University which I am enjoying. As a working Mum I can understand and sympathise with parents returning to work and that is why working with the babies is very rewarding. I particularly love all of those snuggles and cuddles!

I have really enjoyed the last four years in the baby room, being part of the children's growth and development has been a rewarding experience. W e have an excellent team and work really hard to provide a wide variety of activities to the meet the children's individual interests. I am a working Mum myself ) Sam 11 and James 9) and I know from experience how important good childcare is. I have an NVQ level 3 in childcare and development.

I work with the Ladybird Group and have worked at the nursery for over 4 years. I enjoy helping the children gain the skills they require in preparation for school. Outside the nursery I enjoying meeting with my friends and family and keeping active.

I am also a proud Godparent to two wonderful children and enjoy spending time with them and spoiling them with treats!

   aged 2 to 3 years.

I work alongside Michele with our Bumble Bee Group and have been at the nursery for three years. I have a little boy Jack who also attends the nursery for 2 days a week. I am first aid trained and have my food hygiene and child protection certificates. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

I work with the Bumble Bee Group with Jenny and have worked at the nursery for just over two years. Before joining the nursery I was a full time foster carer. I am trained in first aid.

My hobbies are reading and meeting with family and friends.

Caroline Stott

I joined the nursery after completing the foundation degree in Early Years and I am continuing my studies with a BA (Hons). I have two daughters and previously worked as a sessional pre school manager. I have a paediatric first aid certificate and have completed various course covering child protection. EYFS and SEN.

Cheryl Wilson

I work with the Butterfly Group in the baby room. I was a student at the nursery and after completing my collage course in cache level 3 in childcare I was offered a position at the nursery and joined the team in 2008. I love ever minute of working at the nursery. I love working with the babies and being part of their development and helping them grow. In my spare time I help run a guiding  unit. I am first aid trained.
