Thank goodness we have had some rain - our vegetables are now well on their way and we the children are out daily watering them and waiting for the site of a shoot. Many cannot understand why they cannot see the vegetables that they see in the supermarkets yet !

We have been using the herbs from our garden in our cooking and I had a lovely comment from a child last week after I had produce a lovely chicken pie using fresh Thyme from our garden. " Sally, there's a stick in my dinner".

There is still some educating to be done!
