As of March
2007 the nursery is launching our new scheme " Sow, Grow and Eat"
which is for all the children who attend the nursery.
We are
extremely lucky to have the perfect setting and our own nursery
garden and so with all of this at hand our gardener Walter has
built us a vegetable garden and in this we intend to "grow our own
veg".
The children
will be taken out on a weekly basis with Walter our gardener to
nurture seeds, plant them up in our garden, water and
observe and then harvest and eat.
We feel this
is a valuable learning experience for all of our children who
attend the Old School House Day Nursery and shall look forward to a
bountiful crop in the coming year.
Over the year
we will display photo's of our Sow, Grow and Eat project on this
page.

Look the
onions are sleeping

We can water
the onions to help them grow.

We have to be
very careful when we plant the onions
