Events at The Nursery over the coming months

October 2^nd, 2009              Jeans for Genes ~ Everyone to dress up as Wendy or Bob The Builder and pay a £1.00.  Raffle Tickets will also be on sale for Bob the Builder goods for further information see www.jeansforgenes.com

October 6^th 2009                Nursery Photographs will be taken on this day and are a really lovely idea for a Christmas Gift for friends and family. If your child is not attending on this day but you want them to be photographed please book in a time with your child’s room to come along….. All children attending nursery on that day will be photographed and each photo is based on sale and return. If you want to bring your child in special clothes we will change these back into nursery clothes once they have been photographed.

Week Commencing October 26^th, 2009     Pumpkin Competition ~ Bring a Jack o Lantern to decorate the nursery and garden and there will be a prize for each pumpkin. A special prize will be given to the overall winner. Start bringing in pumpkins from the 26^th October.

October 30^th, 2009             Pumpkin and Black Cat Party ~ Dress up as a Pumpkin or Black Cat for our Halloween Party. The party is for children attending on this day only. The baby room are inviting the parents of children attending on that day to join in with their spooky celebrations. Details will be sent out nearer the time.

November 5^th, 2009           Soup and Sparklers ~ We will be having tea in the garden followed by sparklers which will be held by the staff! This is for children attending on this day only.

November 18^th and 19^th     Parents Evening for Baby Room and Nursery Room. Please book in a time to see your child’s key person.

December 4^th, 2009            St Nicholas Feast for all children attending on this day. Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings followed by a lovely pud!

December 8^th / 9^th              Nursery Room Christmas Play. Details of your child’s part in the play will be sent out shortly. Please inform the nursery if your child is unable to take part in our play at the church on both of these nights. Our Christmas Play is such a lovely start to Christmas and we know you will all enjoy your evening with us and the children. Tickets will go on sale in November.

December 20^th, 2009          The Old School House Annual Christmas Party at Newbald Village Hall. 2.00p.m. ~ 4.30 p.m. All children are invited to come along to our wonderful Christmas Party and join in the games and meet Santa. Children under two should be accompanied by a parent. All over two’s can be left with us.

December 24^th, 2009          As we only have limited children on this day children will be offered a light lunch before going home.

January 4^th 2010                 Happy New Year!  ~ The nursery re-opens at 7.45 a.m.
